JIM BUTTON,
TELLING TALES.

Back in ER

Spent all day yesterday in bed, at one point I completely soaked the sheets with sweat. It was a long tiresome day.

When I woke today I had the thought that this was the worst I’ve endured. Ever.

But then I thought further and remembered countless surgeries, nights in hospitals, catheter events, shingles and fevers. Oh and the recent arm fuck up. So no today was not the worst.

But then I want to the bathroom, had a BM and upon inspection there was plenty of bright red blood pooling in the toilet.

After calling my Oncologist and explaining what had transpired he sent me to Emerg for fear of a GI bleed. He also asked me to stop Axitinib just in case it was a factor.

Since arriving at the PLC I’ve had blood taken, a rectal exam and given a urine sample.

Now I wait to see where today ranks in the long list of medical adventures. I will update as I know more.
