JIM BUTTON,

Patience

I think I’m going to need a lot of patience as I go through this healing project. It’s been over a month and from what I’ve been told by the wound care team it could be months before this is repaired. The chemo, steroids and most likely my low protein numbers are really affecting the normal wound repair process.

I am learning patience and I’m learning a lot about my left hand!

Thank you Tracey for the twice weekly dressing change, and thanks to my friends for their ongoing good wishes and spiritual support. I can feel your efforts working!
